I was quickened to create awareness on SRH(R).

One of the tactics of the Anti-Family sexual rights activists is to use ambiguous terms to promote their evil covert agenda.

The Compelling Benefits of Marriage

Is marriage simply one life-choice option among many, or does marriage actually do important and unique things in our lives that make it markedly different from other relationships like singleness, dating, or cohabitation? For anyone concerned about improving human and societal well-being, this is a critical question. 

Physical Health

A review of a decade of research published in the Journal of Marriage and Family in 2020 entitled “Family Matters” explains the “…that the married are in better health than the unmarried, cohabitors are in better health than the unmarried, but worse than the married…”

In 2017, the National Institutes of Health reported “possible biological reasons for health benefits from marriage.” They explained this is because “Married people have lower levels of the stress hormone cortisol” and as a result, “marriage helps buffer people against daily stresses.”

Harvard Medical School also explained, there is fascinating and compelling research suggesting that married people enjoy better health than single people. For example, as compared with those who are single, those who are married tend to: 

– live longer

– have fewer strokes and heart attacks

– have a lower chance of becoming depressed

– be less likely to have advanced cancer at the time of diagnosis and more likely to survive cancer for a longer period of time

– survive a major operation more often.

Psychological Health

A 2019 literature review published in an academic economics journal explained that marriage was associated with “a decrease in number of days of poor mental health, a decrease in the likelihood of depressive disorder diagnosis, and an increase in overall life satisfaction.”

Another academic study published in 2020 explained that “All unmarried groups, including the cohabitating, divorced/separated, widowed, and never married, had significantly higher odds of developing dementia…than their married counterparts.”

A European study published in 2005 found “marriage makes people far less likely to suffer psychological illness” even more so than for unmarried cohabitors. 

Protection Against Poverty

A study of Swedish workers, found that “married men earned substantially more than unmarried men – even after taking into account their work hours, …their education and work experience, and whether or not they held supervisory responsibility.

A 2017 study conducted in Germany found “both women and men experience substantial marriage wealth premiums not only in household wealth but also in personal wealth.” Research like this led Jonathan Rauch, a noted journalist with the National Journal, to publish a game-changing essay in 2001 entitled “The Widening Marriage Gap” explaining how marital status had become a more important driver of economic well-being than even race. He explained that presently “…Poverty correlates more strongly with a family’s marital status than with its race.”

Domestic Violence and Maltreatment

A Report to Congress from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services on Child Abuse and Neglect published in 2010 revealed that, without question, and by far, the safest place for a child to live is with his or her own married mother and father. Family relativism puts children at seriously increased risk.

The Journal of Family Issues revisited the contrasting levels of domestic violence found in married and cohabiting homes in 2018. Even has cohabitation has lost much of its social stigma, this research team explains, “Our work demonstrates that cohabitors have higher rates of intimate partner violence [compared to married].”

Neighborhoods with higher levels of a happy marriage are better, stronger, safer, and healthier communities. Thus, fighting for and working toward a more pro-marriage culture is essential social justice work that all sectors of society should engage in.

You’re welcome to this watch, that falls on Hanukkah, the Festival of Lights.  A small group of Jewish men stood up to the violent oppression of a powerful king who had imposed mandatory idol worship and defiled the Temple – and the revolutionaries prevailed. A miracle where God intervened to provide eight days of light from oil that was only enough to burn one day.

Government Sneakily Pushes Decriminalized Prostitution During Holiday Season!

The Dept of Justice sneakily invites public comment on the “Criminal Law (Sexual Offences and Related Matters) Amendment Bill 2022” during the holiday season to deliberately undermine the public participation process. The Bill will repeal the laws that criminalise the buying and selling of adult sexual services – providing pimps, brothel owners and criminal syndicates who prey on the weak and vulnerable the best gift ever. THE EAST AFRICAN COMMUNITY (EAC)

Gracias to all who the Prayed, Make Submissions and signed petition against the EAC Sexual and Reproductive Health Bill, that is aimed at legalizing Homosexuality, Abortion, among other harmful practices. Your voices made a difference. Due to overwhelming opposition from the public, the Bill well-funded by abortionists, on steady speed to be tabled in August 2022 was not tabled, nor is it on the December 2022 program. We thank GOD for this landslide victory. We need continue praying because the Sponsor of the Bill was re-elected in the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) plus some radical members.

A group of Nigerian parliamentarians has backed a petition to criminalize same-sex relationships, although it is not known at this stage whether the issue will be formally debated in Parliament.

• Several groups have planted trees in the Garden of Life in honour of babies who are now in heaven. Let’s pray for healing for these precious women and men who are planting.

• As our elections are finalised, let’s pray for God fearing people to enter the government. Let’s pray that God will turn hearts to Him – to fear God more than man. We need the Lord to bless His people as there is much corruption and self interest in our politics. “When there is moral rot within a nation, its government topples easily. Law Suits Against pro-Life/Family People

It is a common practice of the Anti-Family Sexual Rights activists to maliciously drag Pro-Life and Pro-family people in a bid to silence their voices.

A case in point is Ann Kioko, Kenya who is now facing legal battles after being sued by Marie Stopes for mentioning their name[1]. Pastor Martin Sssempa, Uganda has also been sued by CEHURD for speaking out against the sexualizing of girls through HIV/AIDs beauty contests[2].

It is also a common practice of the Anti-Family Sexual Rights activists to gang up support to defend their peers who are sued in the courts of Law.  For example, if a doctor is sued for performing an Abortion, CEHURD and its allies gang up to defend the doctors[3].

Whereas the Anti-Family Sexual Rights activists, in a concerted effort defend their members and perpetrators, the Pro-Life and Pro-family members are left to fend alone through the legal battles with no support from the Pro-Family Coalition.

The Family is Core

God is Trinity, so we have been made for relationships. The family is the basic building block of society. Voluntary associations of citizens are the first place where societies problems are to be solved.

What are the signs of a healthy family?

When there is a problem in your community, to who do people look to solve the problem?  The government? The ruling class? Why?

The family is the first and most basic social institution created by God. For this reason, healthy families are the fundamental building blocks of free, just, and prosperous nations.  The first lessons of virtue and self-government are taught and modeled in the home.

The life-long covenant of marriage between a man and woman before their Creator is the foundation of a healthy family. Marriage is created by God. As such, it is a sacred institution. 

The husband is to lead, sacrificially serve, provide for, and protect those in his home. The wife sacrificially supports and nurtures her husband and children as well as facilitates a loving and safe home environment. 

Parents bear the first and primary responsibility of educating their children. Their goal is to form virtuous, intelligent, and self-governing human beings with the morals needed to master themselves, and with the knowledge and skills needed to master the world. 

Without virtuous, wise citizens, healthy nations cannot be born or sustained.  Ignorance and vice lead to corruption , slavery and a culture of death; wisdom and virtue lead to justice, freedom and a culture of life. Free, just, and prosperous nations value, protect, and uphold the basic institutions of marriage and family, and place a high value on the education of its citizens.

The Summit of OACPS Heads of State and Government is due for 6-10 December 2022 in Luanda, to inter alia deliberate on the ACP-EU Partnership treaty, the Treaty has provisions that promote Homosexuality, Abortion, Prostitution, Pornography et.c . This is the same Treaty Which Rt. Hon Tayebwa Thomas and other Legislators from Uganda, Jamaica, Bahamas, Trinidad, Tobago, Sierra Leone, Eswatini, Kenya, Malawi, Ghana, Mali among others who objected to EU imperialism during the ACP-EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly in Maputo, October 29-2 November 2022.

LORD thank you for the firm stand of Legislators from Uganda, Jamaica, Bahamas, Trinidad, Tobago, Sierra Leone, Eswatini, Kenya, Malawi, Ghana, Mali who contested the problematic provisions of the EU-ACP Partnership agreement i.e Homosexuality, Abortion among other during the ACP-EU JPA in Maputo

LORD we commit to you the OACPS Summit on December 6-19 in Luanda, LORD do your biding. LORD empower ACP Presidents/Heads of States and those who will represent them in the summit to stand Firm to boldly refute all problematic Provisions in the EU-ACP trade Treaty such as that promote Homosexuality, Abortion, Prostitution, Pornography; and such as those that undermine Parental Rights/Authority, Religious and Cultural values.

A Theology of Sex: Unequal Desire

What did God create first: hunger or food? Did God make man hungry and then in­vent food to fill the need? Or did God first invent food and then give man an appetite which would motivate him, drive him, to pursue that good gift?

Along with sex, God created sexual desire. God gives a man sexual desire, a sexual appe­tite, because he wants him to have sex with his wife. HE gives him a strong appetite that surpasses any kind of biological purpose because HE wants the couple to have sex a lot. This sexual desire motivates a man to pursue a wife and to marry her so together they can enjoy sex. This desire motivates a man to keep pursu­ing his wife even after they are married. Without this desire, it would be far easier for us to avoid carrying out our God-given duty to have sex (and lots of it) and through it to experi­ence intimacy and unity (and lots of it). If we did not experience pangs of hun­ger we might not eat. If we stopped eating, our bodies would stop repairing themselves and we would die. If we did not experience sexual desire, we might not have sex. And if we stopped having sex, our marriages would suffer and die. Sexual desire, then, is a gift of God given not to torment but to motivate obedience. When a husband inevi­tably feels sexual desire it is a nudge to­ward pursuing his wife.

Yet the appetite for sex, is not given in equal measure. It is typically given in greater part to men. God intends that men take leadership even in sex and, therefore, HE gives to men a greater desire for it. This way men can lead their wives, taking the initiative, taking care to love their wives in such a way that they wish to have sex with their husbands. Generally speak­ing, a man finds intimacy and acceptance through sex while a woman needs to first experience inti­macy and acceptance before she can be prepared to enjoy sex. And so God gives the man a sexual appetite so he can in turn provide for his wife’s needs before she provides for his. If the woman were to lead in this regard, if she were to always be the sexual instigator, the hus­band would be far less likely to pursue his wife and seek to meet her unique needs. He does this by meeting the desires of his wife that will, in turn, cause her to see and appre­ciate and eventually fulfill his desires. And then, in that act of consummation, God grants a grace that surpasses the mere union of flesh and blood.
